Zachary Easum is a French-Moroccan American filmmaker based in New York City who holds a BFA in Film & Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His work is deeply shaped by a nomadic upbringing between Tokyo and Paris, where early exposure to a wide spectrum of global art and culture became the foundation of his eclectic creative voice.

Easum has hands-on experience throughout the filmmaking process, but his core strengths are in cinematography and editing. Holding a a passion for vintage textures and visual realism, he gravitates toward analog formats, often shooting on Super 8 and 16mm film and VHS cam corders. His camera experience also involves digital ones, including the ARRI Alexa Mini, Sony FS7, Sony A7 series, and Canon C300.

Easum has over seven years of experience in DaVinci Resolve & Final Cut Pro. He loves utilizing these editing programs to color grade, create motion graphics, and most importantly, get experimental and innovative with special effects of all kinds.
